When I think of children’s fashion my thoughts immediately jump to the perfection that is North West Kardashian. Obviously, I know she isn’t the mastermind behind her effortless and chic look, but we can still pull inspiration from her wardrobe. Seeing this photo of her in my Snapchat feed reminded me how inspired I am by her sense of style. In this Snapchat story, Kim announced that she and Kanye would be designing a new line of children’s clothing. My heart melted when she said that North West got to add her own touch by picking out the fabrics and colors. She clearly did a good job with this look!
The one look we saw on every high fashion girl this summer was a slip dress paired with a choker and sneakers. North West was one of the ringleaders of this trend and became known for wearing it in the cutest way. A leopard mini slip has never looked better!
Many adults dream of wearing Vetements, but North West already has and she’s only three years old. Only a Kardashian could convince a designer like Demna Gvasalia to take a runway look and make it in children’s size. A sequin fabric is something that we have seen North in a few times and I love it when she wears it! She is a disco ball!
Velvet is THE fabric of 2016. I think that when I look back on this time of my life 10 years from now I will remember that velvet was on everyone. It proved the testament that fast fashion can mock the runway at a rapid pace. North West wears a velvet slip and choker pairing it with a handbag making her look polished and perfect.
Wearing a slip dress is one thing, but adding a graphic tee underneath proves that you are a fashion expert. I have to say that North West is one of the only people I have seen make the double bun trend look good. This is definitely something that should be reserved for people under the age of 5.
We will probably have to wait at least ten years for North West to have an Instagram account of her own. I just hope the paparazzi and her family keep snapping shots of outfits so we can admire them!
