If you were following fashion girls on Instagram this summer you might have noticed captions like “ok! last outfit post wearing gingham,” or “are you surprised I’m wearing gingham again?” It seemed like everyone was dressed head-to-toe in the picnic-table classic. Me and Amanda made this trend edgy with our twists on classic combat boots. To me it felt like the trend had emerged out of nowhere but it spread like wildfire. It was the trend of the summer and if you thought it was going away any time soon you are so wrong! Designers this season were echoing a lot of trends that ruled the streets this summer. On Instagram, I saw a lot of black/white gingham but these designers chose pastel pinks and blues to highlight this trend. I definitely think that gingham is moving in the right direction!
