Mark Twain once said, “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on travel decisions.” So if you want to travel well, you are going to have to dress well. When it isn’t fashion month, the place too look for good style isn’t the runway in Paris, but the runway in Heathrow, JFK or LAX. Paprazzi have been waiting outside of these airports ever since the invention of aviation waiting to photograph the stars and socialites in their best looks. Especially with Chanel’s spring show being set in an airport, it is clear that this sesason fashion airport fashion should be exceedingly impressive. I found myself looking to join the stars by making an effort to dress well for my most recent flight. The dress I wore was very comfortable and easy to wear. Tennis shoes are in style right now and getting to baggage claim is much faster wearing Nike’s. Flights can’t be better when you make the airport your runway.
