Bubblegum pink is the color that I have designated for Spring/Summer 2017. I was a girly girl growing up and pink used to be my favorite color to wear. As I have grown and time has changed, I have morphed my style into more dark and minimalistic colors. I know, Anna Wintour (who’s known for requesting “more color”!) would be disappointed. But even as a grunge minimalist, the effects of NYFW are long-lasting. We saw a lot of pink this season and it is spring so bring out the pastels.
I’m spending one last week in my OG hometown of Birmingham, MI before I head to New York City for the summer to intern at 3.1 Phillip Lim! P. Lim is one of my absolute favorite designers and it’s actually the first runway show I have ever written about. I am excited to share so much of what I learn and wear over the summer so keep following my journey!
