Have you ever caught yourself saying “Oh no! It’s fall now but all of my clothes are from summer??” I certainly have!! Living in New York over the summers and Indiana in the fall means that the majority of my best shopping experiences happen over the summer. I personally prefer fall fashion trends to summer ones but since I do most of my shopping in the summer my fall clothes are a lot older than the items I wear in the summer. I wanted to take this summer dress from an old blog post to show you how to reinvent some of your old pieces and transition into fall.
Scrolling through Instagram last week, I saw a lot of people layering chunky fall knits with flowy summer maxi dresses and knew I had to give it a try.
